Mastercam Reseller NSI CAD/CAM-Technik appointed as new NCSIMUL Distributor

SPRING Technologies: New Mastercam Interface and Expansive Reseller Network

SPRING Technologies has introduced a new interface for its simulation software NCSIMUL, which is to be applied in Mastercam, one of the world's most widely used CAD/CAM solutions, and strengthen its cooperation with leading resellers of this software. NSI CAD/CAM-Technik GmbH, who achieved the highest Mastercam revenue in the German market in 2016, has been appointed as the new distributor for Germany.

Thomas Sprehe, Managing Director of NSI CAD/ CAM-Technik GmbH: "When dealing with our machine building and contract manufacturing customers, every day we experience how important the digital optimization and the reviewing of CAM programms is for automation processes in order to succeed in the market. NCSIMUL is just as easy and quick to use as Mastercam: Using the interface, all data relevant to the simulation process, such as the mounting position, zero points, raw and finished parts will be transmitted to NCSIMUL Machine. Here, after the post-processing the NC code can be checked for potential programming bugs or collisions with only a few clicks.  Using an intelligent optimization function, air cutting and tool paths can also be optimized - it perfectly matches our portfolio."

In addition to the NC Simulation interface NCSIMUL Machine, a CAM work package has been developed to complement the latest NCSIMUL family NCSIMUL 4CAM. NCSIMUL 4CAM, a multiple award-winning solution, imports the data from the CAM software and automatically converts them to fit a different machine with different control settings. Thomas Sprehe adds: "In a connected factory, associates are faced with complex IT systems and autonomously acting machines; while supervising, they are required to act as flexible and creative problem-solvers. In the designing process, functional requirements supporting user guidance and visualization, as well as providing information have to be taken into account."

"We are very happy to team up with a partner that brings many years of industry experience and an exemplary customer support. NSI CAD/CAM-Technik GmbH is a highly qualified team who support and encourage their customers 24/7 for the best-possible application of the software in order to enhance their processes by way of trainings, online tutorials and direct-access support to the customer's computer at any time," says Herbert Schönle, General Manager DACH of SPRING Technologies.

Outside of Germany, SPRING Technologies is also looking to directly cooperate with Mastercam resellers and to establish a network of partners. In the USA, MACDAC Engineering has included NCSIMUL in its portfolio. In Poland, ZALCO has been engaged for distribution and consulting; Mastercam reseller SIMTEK is the company's partner in India.
