New NCSIMUL SOLUTIONS Version 10.3 celebrates launch at Intec 2017

Automatic conversion of NC programs - optimization included

SPRING Technologies will be presenting the latest release 10.3 of the innovative software NCSIMUL SOLUTIONS at Intec 2017. The software platform integrates the entire digital CNC process in its modules and helps its users to a faster and more efficient production with higher quality. This includes flexible, cross-machine NC programming, high performance NC simulation and optimization, DIN/ISO-compatible tool management and real-time machine status monitoring.

Both Intec and Z will again take place at the Leipzig Exhibition Center from March 7th to 10th, 2017. As a duo of trade fairs, both have established themselves as the first important manufacturing tradeshows of the year for the European metal working and supply industry. 1,400 exhibitors will present their services in Leipzig on an area of about 70,000 square meters. In this year's edition it is the first participation of SPRING Technologies as an exhibitor and the company will be presenting its solutions at the AWB joint pavilion at position D20 in the center of Hall 3. "The motto 'complex thinking – developing innovations - quality performance' goes very well with our values. Our high performance machine simulation NCSIMUL Machine is built also for complex and high-precision machining. The results of machining quality are decisive points for our customers; they make us extremely competitive. But also our other modules are very innovative, especially the new NCSIMUL 4CAM," explains Herbert Schönle, General Manager DACH of SPRING Technologies.

Increased efficiency of CNC machines as a feature of "Industry 4.0"

The new NCSIMUL SOLUTIONS module NCSIMUL 4CAM revolutionizes the traditional CAM process and has as an outstanding innovation already won several industry awards. When purchasing of a new machine, NCSIMUL 4CAM can automatically convert existing NC programs to this new machine - without the need of manual reprogramming. As a result the machine is ready to be used earlier. "The ability of our software not only to read and verify NC programs, but also to write, enables our customers to quickly switch between machines with different kinematics and controllers and thereby react flexibly to changing resources in production," explains Herbert Schönle the competitive advantages of NCSIMUL SOLUTIONS.

Optimization included

In addition to increased flexibility, industrial companies also benefit from absolute collision safety thanks to simulated, verified and optimized NC programs. The software's intelligent optimization function analyzes and reduces air cuts and automatically optimizes feed rates. This reduces processing time and increases processing quality. This optimization function is included in the latest NCSIMUL SOLUTIONS 10.3 version's directly in NCSIMUL 4CAM and will be celebrating its German launch at Intec 2017.

Essential information for the setup process is provided to the machine operator as an automatically generated digital set-up sheet or 3D-NC film, which can then be accessed and used interactively via the integrated NCSIMUL Player - also on portable devices.

NCSIMUL TOOL offers NCSIMUL customers also a readily configured tool database according to DIN / ISO standards, with which tools can be integrated and managed in the global production process. "NCSIMUL users benefit from more efficient programming and work preparation, conversion and machining, as well as from an optimized utilization and OEE of your NC machine park. NCSIMUL SOLUTIONS optimizes and saves time at every stage of CNC manufacturing, creating a seamless and intelligent process: an important step forward to the 'digital factory,'" says Schönle.

The team at SPRING Technologies welcomes Intec attendees with exciting live demonstrations of its software and is looking forward to personal conversations about individual challenges and goals regarding NC production.
